Question 5
How is an account opened?
Answer
Simply click on the "Open an account" link at the top of any page. You will be taken to the Calco World Advertising account information page. This page provides all the details of how our accounts work.
Read and thoroughly understand the information on the explanation page and its linked page(s).
At the bottom of the explanation page is a link that takes you to our simple new account Registration Form. It will take only about a minute or so to complete the form, being sure to accurately enter the Referral Code of anyone who referred you to open the account if you were referred.
Being referred by someone doesn't cost you a penny, but it can be very important to the person or business who referred you to open your account. The referral code is not case sensitive. If no one referred you to purchase the account, leave the referral code field blank.
After the form is completed, click the "Submit" link which will take you to the PayPal payment page where you pay for your new account. PayPal offers four interest free payments for the account purchase to qualified purchasers.
It is not necessary to have a PayPal account in order to pay for your account...just about any valid debit or credit card can be used.
Once you submit your registration form and payment, a confirmation of your new account will be received in your welcome letter from Calco that will be found in either your inbox or spam of the email account you used for your username to open your account.
Last, be sure to completely fill out your profile page information when you login to your new account.
Question 6
What is the difference between the "Classifieds" section and the "Hot Deals" section?
Answer
The "Classifieds" section is for regular ads posted by our advertisers.
The "Hot Deals" section is for posting ads offering drastically reduced sales items, clearances, loss leaders etc. Offerings MUST be priced at or below wholesale.
Question 7
How do I properly use my referral code?
Answer
First, to be absolutely clear, Calco account holders NEVER SELL new advertising accounts to anyone. They ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO "SELL" Calco accounts. They MUST eliminate use of any form of the word "sell" in their conversations with a prospective Calco advertising account purchaser that they wish to "refer" to open a new Calco account.
Your unique referral code is located on your "Profile" page you will see when you log in to your account. Be sure your referral code is correctly entered in the Referral Code window of the registration form that is submitted to Calco by your referral. The code is not case sensitive.
Be very careful when it is entered because if it is incorrectly entered on a registration form that is submitted, you will not receive credit for the referral since the site's programming will not permit us to change or correct the code so we will be unable to correct it once we receive it.
The new account you referred will receive a new account email confirmation in their welcome letter from Calco. You are now permanently connected to this new account by your referral code.

Question 9
Why can't a Calco advertising account holder use the term "sell" or "selling" when referring a prospect to open a Calco advertising account?
Answer
The term "sell" or "selling" implies or infers the referrer is an agent or employee of Calco. We also don't pay "commissions" for referrals, their renewals and overrides because, again "commission" implies or infers the referrer is actually an agent of Calco which subjects our company to liabilities for the conduct of our account holders who are simply "referring or recommending" a person or business purchase a new Calco advertising account.
So that Calco is not exposed to potential liabilities for the behavior of our advertising account holders who are simply "recommending" someone purchase an account rather than they are "selling" that prospect as some form of sales representative of Calco, Calco advertising wishes to be absolutely clear that our account holders ARE NOT agents or employees of Calco. They are simply recommending people purchase a new Calco account and if that person actually purchases a new account using the referrer's ID code on their new account registration they submit to Calco, we "COMPENSATE" the referrer for sending Calco a new customer, we DON'T pay the referrer a "commission" for the referral.
A Calco advertising account holder IS NOT an AGENT OR EMPLOYEE of Calco and has no authority to "represent" or "sell" products or services for Calco. A Calco advertising account holder can only recommend to someone that they open a Calco advertising account and elucidate information that is provided at the site.
The Calco referrer has no authority and is specifically, strictly forbidden from offering to change or modify a prospect's advertising account or the site's rules governing the advertising account the prospect is considering purchasing.
